Research Group of Construction Engineering in Ajou University
AUCEM (Ajou Construction Engineering and Management) is a research group in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the Graduate School of Ajou University. AUCEM includes three labs: Construction Schedule Innovation (CSI) Lab directed by Dr. Kyungrai Kim, Innovative and Creative Construction Management (ICCM) Lab directed by Dr. Heesung Cha, and Smart Construction Lab (SCL) directed by Dr. Byungjoo Choi.

AUCEM also provides various graduate and undergraduate courses to help students become highly skilled, broadly trained professionals in the construction industry. AUCEM program integrates the technical skills gained through an engineering education with the competencies attained through the study of business management. AUCEM graduates find a wide range of employment opportunities in private industry and in the public sector, for example in engineering consulting-, building-, and industrial construction firms, as well as in public- and private owner organizations.
